Baby update...oh and Happy Thanksgiving!

So Jesse got home Saturday from Scotland! YEAH! we are always so glad when our daddy comes home... We are slowly getting our Christmas stuff up...its taken a lot to motivate me to do any more decorating....While Jesse was gone i went through this insane nesting stage where i organized every inch of our home, got the babies room ready(as much as i could without knowing what it is) then i decided to paint our bedroom, our bathroom, and the guest bathroom. Also shopped for new decor to go with each. I cleaned and organized the basement and preschool too.

It felt great to get it all done before Jess got home but as soon as he was home that little streak of energy quickly left. I have struggled even bending over to pick up toys, I feel the "more delightful" part of pregnancy has past me and now its just enduring to the end. Which Is actually what my update on my baby is all about....So my due date is the 1st of January, But after my 34 week ultrasound...I wast old the baby is measuring 37 weeks and 5 days....now, i know im not off on dates because i am really good about charting etc when i ovulate...so in other words...this baby is BIG....so strange, we found this out on Tuesday and that night i was having contractions 5-9 min apart for two hours straight...pretty strong ones too...more than i ever felt with the twins. So.....12 in the morning i drove myself to the hospital so jess could stay home with the grils. Not an easy thing to do when your having contractions ever 5 min. But i made it and after all of about 15 min of being watched on the monitors they came scrambling back in my room and gave me a shot of tributaline...and for anyone who has ever had to have this to stop their contractions will know what i am talking about....Your heart races and your face becomes really flushed and you feel really jittery.... but it stopped my contractions on the spot and i was able to be nice and alert when i drove myself home! Good thing is im not dilating....but this whole preterm labor stuff really scares me because i know they are wanting to send Jesse out on another hitch before i have the baby... which could be VERY risky. We still have to try and work that out but im sure in the end it will. So thats the update on the baby. I still plan on keeping this baby in a bit longer so hopefully my body agrees!

Sounds like you are doing good. I am excited for you. I dont know if I could go a whole pregnancy not knowing what I was having. But thats awesome. So how long have you been doing preschool? That is fun. My Cousin lives in Saratoga Springs. Her name is Tanya Bates, do you know her?
