So I always love the fourth...there could not be a better way than fireworks to celebrate this great Nation and all the men and women who not only die for our country but who live for its purpose...which is to be free. I sadly am one of those who i think take for granted from time to time what it truly means to be free...and again thats why i love any time to celebrate this beautiful gift that has been gifted me.
Thank you! thank you! thank you! to those who not only are fighting the wars that are afar and who fought for freedom and justice in the past... but to the police officers who fight them here and now...more and more i am beginning to appreciate those solders too! thank you all for my freedom and for being our protectors!
This is Jesse's favorite holiday besides Christmas....Jesse loves not only the festivities of the fourth but deeper than that, i don't think i have ever met a man who has more of a desire to serve his fellow man and his country...Those who know Jesse, know of his desire to be one of our nations protectors... Its a very special thing to watch Jesse and to see the light...no, more like this Fire in his eyes when a story is told about a solider, or when he stands to solute a flag or veterans in a parade, or even the national anthem.... When Jesse shakes the hand of a solider its like a kid meeting there super hero. Many of you know Jesse tried to enlist in the Marines about a year and a half ago...to our shock and to his dismay he was denied due to the amount of dependencies ( his wife and children) he had. This was a sad day, but we know and trust the lord in this decision. I just don't think Jess can or ever has let go of that dream of one day being counted as one of his nations defenders... but with the way the world is turning...maybe it wont be long...
There is another man that I have seen this fire in... Those of you who know him could agree that My Dad too was meant to be a soldier...I think hes watched so man documentaries and studies so much into wars that you could swear the man fought in every one. I am just so thankful to you men who maybe haven't fought in a "war" but who are our protectors in the home....You truly dont know the amount of relief we feel just with the presence of a man by our side who we know at any moment would be ready and willing to FIGHT for there families....whatever the cost.
Thank you too! Our loving soldiers in the home!
