Happiest 5 years!

Well on June 25th 2004 I a gave my heart to the most wonderful man that ever lived...and sealed that love in Salt Lake City temple early on a Thursday morning... surrounded by friends and family, knelt across the altar was my whole life, my greatest and deepest love, my strength, my happiness, my promise...my Jesse.

Since Jesse Is in Trinidad I decided i would just watch our wedding video, read my journal entry's from when i met Jesse and when we got married...and then have a good cry because i MISS HIM SO BAD! I know i can be pretty mushy on this blog....I guess its just hard not to when you feel like you have something so great.... Although, I guess sitting at home doing those things isnt as bad as being stuck on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean with a bunch of men...sorry love.

Something i will share and never forget about our wedding day was when we knelt at the altar our sealer commented on the bright beautiful Chandler that hung above us...he said to think of the Chandler as Christ. That its brightness represents his glory. Then as he stood us in front of those mirrors he again brought to our attention the brightly glowing Chandler that reflected the eternities with us, and promised that as long as we keep Christ in our marriage, Christ being the reason we can be sealed together for eternity, that just as this reflection never ends so too will our love and our marriage NEVER end.... I loved that....because it has been so true...I know that our love is so strong because we have kept the savior at the head of our marriage.

I couldn't get any of my wedding pics to download... but i have always loved this one of Jesse and I...you cant tell real well but the sun is shining threw the rain (it was poring too)...Isn't that what marriage is and always should be...the sun shining threw the rain. This was taken just a few weeks after Jess and I were married, Its kind of set the tone for what we wanted our marriage to always be like....
I am so grateful for this Gospel...It is my reason to celebrate not just these past five years...but the reason i can celebrate a whole eternity with Jesse...

I love you Jesse Colter Burgon
