Azzlynisms and Caelynisms....

So over the past 6 months or so i have been trying to keep track of all the silly things my girls will say and do...that i desperately do not want to forget so ive made a list of my Caelynisms and my Azzlynisms...

Instead of squirrel the girls would say squiggy they learned about chipmunks and now any squirrel or chipmunk is called a "sqwoog munk"
Azzly calls "yesterday" - "Lessaday"
Caelyn calls "yesterday" - "Nessaday"
Every night without fail the girls have a request of songs they want mommy and daddy to sing. Lulu usually wants sleeping beauty’s song and Azzlyns request is Cinderella’s song...but there play list consists of all of these songs too:

I love to see the temple
I lived in heaven
Almost every Marry popins song
I am a child of god
John the Baptist song
mother I love you (only we put there names in instead of mother)
and just about any Disney princess song...

Jesse has instilled a love of anything and everything nature in these kids and especially in Dinosaurs...so naturally Land before time is a Favorite...but the way they say it is the best..
" Land BE-DE Time" Caelyn loves to imitate..ducky and says yep,yep,yep...all the time And Azzy always pretends shes little foot and likes to ask me at random times of the day..."mother whats a Looooong neCK?"

For toilet paper Caleyn calls it "Flusha pappa"
For toilet paper Azzlyn calls it "Alla pappa"

Azzy and lulu seem to know how to do everything these days...or as they say..
"I how to do that...I how to all by my self..."

Azzlyn calls Preschool "speekool"
Caelyn calls Preschool "sprekool"

We have lots of nick names for little Axil and one day when we were driving Caelyn was trying to comfort her brother.... this was what she said.... no joke..."oh dont be sad Baby, Axil, Brother, Bubba, Boy..." I laughed so hard...

These girls arent fazed by much...like most kids have fears by now but the only one so far is when they are without there night light (and shots-read next line)...so "afraid of the dark" you could say. So lately to tease one another they will pull the light out...and someone will start to cry and mom will come to the rescue....and if it was Azzy that pulled the light out Caelyn will say " Azzy makes me scary..." and reversed if Caelyn pulls the light Azzy will say " Lu Lu makes me scary!"

We all went to Axils 1 year check up a month ago...This was quite the traumatic experience...I had not planned on the girls getting any shots but it turned out they both needed there second strand of the swine flu...sooooo....this is not a good thing...I am alone...and i have three children whom all have to get shots....two of which are old enough to understand and need to be given advanced notice of this... So doctor brings the needles in and they both loose there minds....Azzlyn is clinging to me like a cat and caelyn is headed for the door which of course gets Axil all upset....So we wrestle Azzy first and she is NOT happy...but the nurse takes her to get a treat and now Caelyn has offically lost it at this point because she knows she is next.... getting the treat has very subtly calmed Azzy.........UNTIL.....Caelyn is given her shots after mom literally sits on her.... NOW Azzlyn has really lost it ...Azzy is very defensive of her siblings...and this was worse for her to watch than getting her own shots...so now Azzlyn is screaming at the nurse for giving her sister a shot....screaming "NO NO NO!!!!! YOU DONT! YOU JUST DONT!" till she is red in the face....I have never seen her so upset....and again this has all got Axil upset and before you know its his turn to be given his shots and its just a repeat of caelyns shots...Azzlyn is really not making friends with the nurse. But we all survive and make our way home and for about 45 min after Azzlyn is STILL crying and really worked up over what just happened.... She says over and over to me " Mom that was so dangerous!" Cant wait for those kindergarten shots!
